So this last Saturday was Super Saturday! It was crazy! We had 23 people signed up to walk doors, and 10 signed up to make phone calls. In reality we had 13 people walk doors, and 12 people to make phone calls. It wasn't what we wanted, but it was still good. We had 600 doors knocked on, and 1,100 phone calls made. It was a good day for our office. At one point, I had 3 volunteers in the office making phone calls, and I was told that Congressman Jeb Bradley was going to drop in to say Hi! I was terrified, because I only had 3 volunteers in the office. I started making phone calls to get people in the office, and was met with no one at home. Luckily, and here is proof that God listens to prayers, I had 4 walk-ins within the next hour that I put on the phones, and I had some door walkers come back in, and so when the Congressman arrived I had about 10 people in the office. That helped me feel a lot better. It made the office look busy, and we had phone calls being made. I did take volunteers off the phones one at a time so that I could get photos of them with the Congressman. I even got a photo, and so I'm posting that with my blog post for today!
